Monday, January 18th, 20105 Tips For Choosing Sound Valentine’s Gifts For Girlfriend
Tuesday, January 12th, 2010
Valentine’s Day is around the corner again and now you may rack your brains to think about what kind of gift to choose for your beloved girlfriend. Truly it is really an uphill task to choose an ideal gift since most ladies are picky and hard to please.
But if you don’t want to be thought as hard and uncaring, you really need to spare some time to read this article where some tips for choosing sound Valentine’s Day Gifts for Girlfriend are listed, hoping that they can help you in some way.
1. The gift you choose should follow the preference of your girlfriend
Truly, some gifts are good in your eyes or in your friends’ eyes, but if they are not your girl’s taste, don’t buy. For example, Ed hardy T-shirt is great, but if your girl is lovely and quiet, then Ed hardy clothes could be your last choice for her. And never doubt that toys are silly gift ideas since many girls consider these soft toys as their good friends. Anyway, you should choose gift according to your girl’s preference.
2. Avoid the gifts that have specific meaning unless you do mean it
As we all know women are sensitive, so it is easy for them to guess your intention from the gift you send. And if you just follow others, for instance, to send jewelry to your girlfriend, she may think that you want to marry her. If you do have this plan, just do. But if you do not mean to, you’d better choose something else, or you will be in big trouble.
3. Never believe that the dearer, the better
The gift you choose should prove to your girlfriend that you are the right man for her and you do love her. But it doesn’t mean that you should choose something expensive since what your girl really care is not what kind of luxury you buy, instead, she just wants to know that you do care about her. So there is no need for you to buy her a Tiffany necklace or a LV bag which may cost you a month salary or even more. On the contrary, a bunch of red roses or lily may provoke big and genuine smile on her face.
4. Choose something useful
Nowadays, many men like to buy cards and write some poems on them as gifts or just attachments to gifts for girlfriend. And after the special day, most of the cards, actually, will be found in the waste bin, which could do nothing but worsen environment. So why not get her something useful, a pair of UGG boots, for example. Although UGG boots are not so fashionable, they, at least, can give your girl’s feet the best care, letting her enjoy warmth and comfort.
5. Don’t be shy! Speak out your loveIf you do love your girlfriend, please say “I love you” to her directly. You know, sometimes your girl is a bit stupid. So if you don’t tell her you love her, she will never know your feelings. Besides, your girl can never listen too much for “I love you”. Therefore, on 2010 Valentine’s Day, say “I love you” to your girlfriend directly!
Keep all the above tips in mind when choosing gifts for your girlfriend. And wish each of you enjoy a wonderful Valentine’s day in 2010

The History of Valentine’s Day
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Every February, across the country, candy, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. But who is this mysterious saint and why do we celebrate this holiday? The history of Valentine’s Day — and its patron saint — is shrouded in mystery. But we do know that February has long been a month of romance. St. Valentine’s Day, as we know it today, contains vestiges of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. So, who was Saint Valentine and how did he become associated with this ancient rite? Today, the Catholic Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred.

One legend contends that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men — his crop of potential soldiers. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine’s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

How to say “I LOVE YOU”?
Friday, October 2nd, 2009I Love You is a simple word. And yet it is most difficult word in the word.
If you know how to say it, you mean it.
Otherwise, it will be quite embarrasing.
Well, we have a lot of ways to share.

1) Just say it! I love you!
2) Write a note: “I love you.”
3) Cut out a paper heart and hide it in a special place where it will be found.
4) Cut out 500 paper hearts of all sizes and colors. Tape them up all over a room.
5) Give someone a “heart attack” – cut out hearts (about 5″ and larger) from thick paper or craft foam. Attach with tape or a hot glue gun to craft sticks (like popsicle sticks). When finished, sneak over to your love’s house and stick the hearts-on-a-stick all over the yard by pushing the sticks into the dirt or grass.
6) Write “I Love You” on the bathroom mirror in lipstick.
7) Draw a heart on the bathroom mirror in lipstick.
8 ) Fill up your love’s car, bedroom or ?? with lots and lots of heart-shaped balloons.
9) Send flowers.

22) If appropriate, buy a puppy or kitten for your love. How sweet!
23) Use a special talent of yours – write your love a song, paint a painting, write a poem or ?
