1. Hapus setiap stiker atau label harga dari cangkir Anda. Cuci cangkir dengan deterjen ringan untuk menghilangkan kotoran atau residu stiker.

2. Pilih atau buatlah gambar yang Anda ingin untuk ditempatkan di cangkir Anda.

3. Buka program pengedit foto (adobe photoshop atau corel photo paint) dan buatlah dokumen baru dengan dimensi yang sama seperti kertas decal air Anda, biasanya 8,5 x 11 inci.

4. Scan atau buka foto Anda di dalam foto-program pengedit Anda.

5. Pilih seluruh foto dengan menggunakan marquee tool lalu copy, kemudian paste foto ke dalam dokumen baru.

6. Ubahlah ukuran foto tersebut sehingga sesuai dan pas di cangkir yang akan Anda rancang.

7. Tambahkan teks, efek atau clip art yang ingin Anda tambahkan pada desain akhir.

8. Cetak foto yang telah selesai Anda rancang ke water decal paper Anda. Ikuti paket petunjuk mengenai pengaturan printer.

9. Gunting gambar tersebut dari water decal paper.

10. Semprot gambar Anda tersebut menggunakan clear acrylic sealer. Lakukan langkah ini di area yang berventilasi baik dan tahan penyemprotan kira-kira bisa 12 inci jauhnya dari posisi kertas. Terapkan beberapa lapisan tipis penyemprotan bertahap pada gambar untuk mengamankan tinta ke water decal paper. Hindari penyemprotan tebal sekaligus pada gambar.

11. Biarkan acrylic sealer mengering.

12. Potong kelebihan kertas dari gambar Anda dan buang sisanya.

13. Tempatkan decal ke dalam mangkuk air untuk sekitar lima detik. Anda akan dapat mengetahui kapan gambar siap meluncur (terkelupas licin) dari kertasnya.

14. Kelupaslah gambar dari kertasnya, lalu tempelkan pada permukaan mug. Sesuaikan gambar dengan pas pada posisi mug-nya saat masih basah (sehingga mudah digeser-geser)

15. Usap gambar dengan hati-hati dengan kain kering dan biarkan mengering.

I ordered this for my teacher who is going to retired soon. I am looking for something special that there is no other. I have came across this website before. There is a lot of good and satisfying comments that this time i decide to give it a try.

I ordered an italic crystal, but the staff called and told me that it is out of stock. So i took the ordinary one. I was afraid it might look bad, because i use my own design, but when i received it (which was a surprise 3 days to me) it was nice.

Only that, i thought the back might be opaque instead of semi transparent. I hope my teacher will like it and i will order more in the time to come.
